I have some 6/32 well nuts available for .25 each plus shipping of $2.30.
I asked Tim P. from Colorado, a GMCer , how the lights looked at night and if he used my ideas for installation--Here is his reply.
"At night it looks really neat really bright, looks like an 18 wheeler. For real the back is very bright they
definitely show off their stuff. Maybe over shadow the tail lights a little. But they are beautiful. The porch
light {amber} is perfect to see your way.
I did pretty much the way you did yours. The well nuts work very wellllllll. I didn't trim them, the foam had enough give
to go over the rubber nut. I rtvd under the pad it gave it movement for difference in hole size. They sealed great and your screws were perfect, good job. The wring colors drove me nuts on the rear should have checked it better. That night I even used the wire diagram and it didn't match what was there."

Please check to make sure your OEM screws are 6-32, someone mentioned they had 8-32 on their 73!!! If you have 8-32 screws, the Led lights will still work but you will have to buy screws at the hardware store.
Bill Brown (GMC owner) has thicker gaskets available if wanted for 2.00 each which includes postage, he made them to fit the OEM lights but they will work with the LEDS. Contact him at carguy@clover.net if interested.
